QUIZ 1

Find the Mystery Number

Here is a diagram of the village identifying 22 roads, streets, lanes etc together with 22 photographs of house numbers, 1 picture from each road.

Find which number goes with which road.

Substituting the pictured numbers for each road name use addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to discover the mystery number as follows:-

•  Starting with Front Street, subtract Back Street.

•  Multiply your answer by Rocky Lane.

•  And then add Walnut Orchard.

•  Divide this answer by Hampton.

•  Before multiplying by Frys Close.

•  Now add Malthouse Meadow.

•  And divide by Portesham Hill.

•  Divide this answer by Bramdon Lane.

•  And Multiply by Goose Hill.

•  Before subtracting Winters Lane.

•  Now, if you are correct and you multiply your answer by itself you will reveal :-

                       The Mystery Number!

Please text your name & number to me, Keith 07818032416. All correct entries will be put in a hat at the Millennium Fayre and the first 3 entries drawn will each win a set of our coveted limited edition Millennium Mug and Pen!
